Prior to the start up of Signplan Ltd, Peter Rooney was Managing Director for 27 years of Signwise Ltd based in Glasgow having previously worked for Claudgen GEC in Wembley and Glasgow initially as sign designer and surveyer and latterly signage operations manager for the Glasgow division. With this invaluable knowledge and experience in Sign Making, it was inevitable that he would establish Signplan in 2004. Although a much smaller company than the previous others, his personal enjoyment and satisfaction in running a small operation making Signs is reflected in our work.
Our Story
We as company enjoy what we do and our attention to detail transmits into our finished products. Being a small company we pride ourselves in being versatile and hands on to all aspects of production which enables us to give each job full attention which reflect on the high quality of the end product. All work being carried out in our workshop in the East End of Glasgow, we offer a friendly approach to each client by giving our full attention to their project. With the aid of the best equipment on the market and with over 50 years experience in the Sign Industry, our clients are never dissapointed.
From the bench to the site, attention to detail is vital. Every care is taken from the handling of materials to the fabrication and testing when necessary of all component parts, prior to going to site. Our fitters have great knowledge of all aspects of site conditions and any specialised fixing details where required to ensure each installation is safely fitted and working to expectations. Every aspect of the fabrication from drawings to construction are carefully considered which enables the installation process to take place smoothly and effectively.
